FEE STRUCTURE FOR YEAR 2012
The high cost incurred in providing medical education is only partially
recovered by the fees received from students. The college receives no grants,
awards or subsidy from any government or non-governmental organization. Student
fees are determined by the previously defined categories of seats. Fee schedules
for the entire course program are given at the time of application and offer of
admission and will not change during the course. In addition to JMDC fees,
University of Karachi charges students an Enrollment Fee and an Examination Fee
at the time of each Professional Examination given by the student. |
Students are required to deposit the Admission Fee and the First Year Tuition
Fee at the time of admission. Annual tuition fees are due at the beginning of
each academic year. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. |
Meritorious, deserving students are provided financial assistance. To be
eligible to apply for a scholarship, students must be in good standing. Students
in good standing must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance and pass all
